About DOS
The DOS TAEKWONDO training space is located in the southern Sydney suburb of Caringbah in the Sutherland shire. It is a newly refurbished and modern facility with a spacious gym which is used solely for DOS TAEKWONDO students.
Dos Taekwondo was initially formed in the early 90s by Sascha Ostermann in Vienna, Austria where he still continues to teach today. Our Australian club has been operating in the Sutherland Shire since 2005 and going strong. We now have over 100 members, some of whom (both kids & adults) are currently in training for and competing in Sparring, Pattern & Breaking Tournaments.
We are the only club that consistently produces champions in both patterns and fighting. In 2009 alone we had over 6 National Champions in patterns and over 8 National Champions in fighting.
We will have a strong showing at interclub Taekwondo tournaments in the Sutherland Shire and the St George area.
All students are given equal opportunities to reach whatever level of achievement they desire and are given the space to decide exactly what level of skill they wish to strive. Students are encouraged to show sportsmanship and compassion for their classmates and peers.
At Dos we are committed to providing a fun, safe and progressive environment. Each individual is encouraged to improve themselves and reach their own potential at their own pace.
