Learn from the Taekwondo Martial Arts Castle Hill Master
One possible way for us to succeed is to live by the virtues of the advice that we give to others. We may sometimes tell others what they should or should not do but we cannot do those when the time comes that it’s our turn to choose. We have read about how Sam Guner, Taekwondo Martial Arts Castle Hill Master, teach the five tenets of Taekwondo namely, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Now, it’s time for us to know how he can give these back.
Sam may have been teaching his students to be courteous but it does not end there. The Taekwondo Martial Arts Castle Hill Master is polite to everyone. He respects everyone whether that person is a student or a co-worker. He humbles himself and effortlessly trying to be modest in the most possible way. He never lifts his head to intimidate someone but he bows in order for someone to feel comfortable with him being around. And most of all, he does not discourage questions and he listens to suggestions.
Taekwondo Martial Arts Castle Hill Master — Perseverance
Integrity is sometimes difficult to practice but Sam has taken serious determination to have this. Sam, being a teacher, is upright. He has the capability of constituting differences of what is right from what is wrong. Though he looks really tough at times of making difficult decisions, he has good conscience and a sense of guilt.
Staying strong through thick and thin is not an easy thing to do. It takes time before you perfect the art of putting your feet in the right place prior to standing stiffly. Perseverance is truly needed especially in Taekwondo. Sam, as a beginner a long time ago, had some difficulties in some Taekwondo moves. But as he filled his heart and mind with attaining something, it made him feel that those are stepping stones and if he just put his feet correctly on those stones, he will be able to stand firm.
Taekwondo Martial Arts Castle Hill Master — Taekwondo as a self-defense
As Sam, Taekwondo Martial Arts Castle Hill Master, always says, “Taekwondo is for self-defense and not for violence”. Sam saying this is something that he means. And if he means it, he applies it to himself as well. Sam knows when to use this art. The art of self-control always matters to him in all situations. He has his hands over controlling himself physically, mentally and emotionally. What’s bothering him outside the class stays outside the class. In this way, he prevents hurting anybody.
When Sam began learning Taekwondo, he knew that he can attain what he wants for himself. He never let this spirit die at any cost. He was never easily taken away from the focus to his goal. There were times that he felt he is down but he lifts his spirit and he always had this positive courage towards his Taekwondo life. Through all that training, he became uneasily discouraged. He is never afraid of falling because he knows to himself that he can rise back up again.
