What makes DOS Taekwondo different from every other club?

At DOS Taekwondo we focus primarily on the martial art taekwondo, taking our students commitment and goals seriously to help them reach the milestone of achieving their Taekwondo Black Belt.

Our black belts are internationally recognized through Kukkiwon taekwondo head quarters; this means no matter where you choose to train the in world your black belt will be acknowledged.

Who can be a Taekwondo Black Belt?

Before reaching black belt you must first complete the series of colour belts beforehand, once this has been achieve there is absolutely nothing stopping you from gaining your own black belt.

How long does it take to get your Taekwondo Black Belt?

On average, two and half to three years If you participate in regular training and partake in the majority of colour belt grading.

What’s taekwondo black belt grading like?

Unlike our colour belts grading, which is an open event for parents and friends to come and watch, black belt grading is a private session booked one and one with DOS Grandmaster Sam and a couple of the senior black belts.  In this time students will run through the components necessary to achieve black belt status.

What does it mean to be a DOS taekwondo black belt?

When you have achieved your black belt, it is something no one can ever take away from you. It proudly demonstrates that you have earned the respect of the older students and have become a role model for the younger students.  Its shows that you are committed to the sport of Taekwondo and have an exemplary understand of Taekwondo as a sport and a lifestyle.
