What is Martial Arts Parramatta?

It’s a common confusion. Even with great differences, most people don’t even know that combative training and martial arts Parramatta is not one and the same. This misleads people about how to look at anyone who practices either form of art. Moreover, people who would like to study martial arts Parramatta or combative training might most likely end up disappointed or even shocked when they get to start practicing with expectations and misconceptions are already emplaced.

To help us understand the difference between the two, let’s look into their history.

Martial Arts Parramatta

“Martial art” coming from the words “martial”, which refers to war, and “art”, which refers to a product of skill and imagination, could simply refer to the “art of war”. Basing from how warriors need to fight in the ancient times, ancient martial arts developed the art of using swords, spears, daggers, clubs, and hand to hand combat. Martial art was developed for warriors to be stronger and fiercer in attacking and more effective in defending themselves in battle. Much has changed in the methods and techniques of martial arts since then. The ancient practice which was then practical is no more needed today. Now, there are only very few who are willing to practice ancient techniques and help preserve the art.

Combative Training

Combative training, on the other hand, is not simply based on the warriors but on the battles itself. Unlike martial arts that started more than 2,000 years ago, modern combative training only started in World War II. That makes understandable the lack of the warrior codes and science of fighting but more on the maximization of physical attributes that should be imparted in their instincts.

Combative training started with the aim of incorporating automatic reflex to soldiers that should enable them to fight and defend without needing to think. This skill should also be gained very quickly even without any prior knowledge or experience in hand to hand combat in reverse to martial arts Parramatta where years of discipline and mastering is needed. Technically, combative training was born to develop “military machines” in forms of human beings.
